Esther Eugene discusses Virtual Entrepreneurial Academy experience

Esther Eugene  is a recent graduate of the Virtual Entrepreneurial Academy Spring 2020 and returned to The Greenhouse to host St. Pete Pitch Night

The Entrepreneurial Academy exceeded my expectations – especially in the depth of information supplied and the access to the instructors and presenters. The personal touch via Zoom makes the course a unique learning experience. Barry, Kim, and Brittany’s positive feedback and instruction were excellent and their knowledge of the full spectrum of business ownership was knowledgeable and much needed. I learned key principles of being an entrepreneur that I implemented immediately. One such principle that stands out for me is the need for effective and efficient marketing. My classmates were encouraging and supportive and have become my biggest cheerleaders after graduating from the course.

The biggest resources that EA provided was connections. With the inability to network as we would normally do, the connections have been the hugest benefit for me. But not just the connections, the exposure as well. Brittany and Kim have been pivotal in providing exposure and connections. COVID-19 is teaching us that “word of mouth” connections and exposure will keep us afloat and for some help to launch their business. I also appreciated the access to the business mentor that was beneficial to me as well.”
